How We Keep Our Flower Clean
Behind the Grow
A lot of brands talk about clean flower. Few talk about the actual process that makes it clean — because the process is where the real work happens, and the real work is not glamorous. It is detailed, consistent, and non-negotiable. Here is ours.
Why Clean Matters More Than You Think
When we say clean, we mean clean at every stage — from the water that touches the roots to the air in the grow environment to the hands that trim the final product. Because “clean” is not a finishing touch. It is a process standard that has to be maintained from seed to sale.
What enters the plant shows up in the plant. Residual nutrients, pesticide traces, heavy metals, microbial contaminants — these do not just disappear at harvest. They can persist into the final product. Our job is to make sure they never enter the process in the first place.
The Water: RO Only
Every drop of water that touches our plants is reverse-osmosis filtered. RO filtration removes dissolved solids, chlorine, chloramine, heavy metals, and other impurities from tap water that can interfere with nutrient uptake and leave residuals in the plant.
Starting with pure water gives us a blank canvas — we know exactly what is going into the plant because we control every variable from the source.
The Nutrients: High Performance, Zero Residual
We use HTG nutrients — a balanced, high-performance feeding program designed to give plants exactly what they need at each growth stage without fillers, harsh salts, or residuals that linger post-harvest.
Our feeding schedules are dialled precisely to each growth phase — vegetative, transition, bloom, and flush — because overfeeding is just as problematic as underfeeding. Both show up in the final product. Both show up on a lab report.
No Harmful Chemicals — Ever
We rely on biological IPM (Integrated Pest Management) and safe, natural solutions to keep our environment balanced. No synthetic pesticides. No chemical sprays that leave residuals. No shortcuts that trade short-term results for long-term product integrity.
Our approach to pest and disease management is preventive and biological — building a healthy environment where problems are less likely to occur, rather than reacting to problems with chemicals.
Environmental Control: TrolMaster Precision
Temperature, humidity, CO2, and airflow are the four environmental pillars of premium cultivation. We use TrolMaster environmental controls — precision technology that tracks and automates every variable in real time.
- Temperature: maintained within tight ranges throughout each growth phase
- Humidity: controlled to prevent mould risk while supporting healthy transpiration
- CO2: supplemented and monitored to optimise plant metabolism during lights-on periods
- Airflow: constant circulation prevents hotspots, strengthens stems, and reduces disease pressure
The Proof: Third-Party Lab Testing
We do not ask you to take our word for it. Every ZeroFourTwenty batch is third-party lab tested for the full panel — cannabinoid profile, pesticide screening, heavy metal screening, microbial testing, and residual solvent testing.
The results are posted publicly because clean is not something we claim — it is something we prove. Scan the QR code on any ZFT product to access the COA for that specific batch.
⭐ Pro Tip: When you open a bag of ZeroFourTwenty herb, you should feel confidence, not questions. That confidence is built through process — not marketing.
